Gail Newman was a Cleveland based artist originally born in Queens, New York. Her first showing was at John Carroll University. She went on to have many showings across the Midwest. This painting in particular features a man and an elderly woman, perhaps mother and son, painted in a flat, color blocking style. There are various shades of blue, red, and yellow throughout.
